Beach Education

My successes were getting to go inside the lifeguard lookout, playing fun games on the sand, getting a free swim with the big waves, having fish'n chips for lunch and making sandcastles.
I learnt one of the jelly fish names blue bottle, I learnt how to use a longboard, I learnt how to run in the water by. Interesting facts: I found out that the lifeguards only had to use the shark sign once in 20 years and it was to scare some people who were not doing the right thing away.

In the past 2 weeks in Room 22 we have made a sgraffito art work.  First we had to choose a picture of a person doing a sport activity. We had to draw a freehand copy of the pictogram from the computer onto some news paper then cut it out to make a template

Next we had to use a piece of A3 paper and we had to colour it in with pastel. Next we had to get some black paint and cover the paper with it, being careful not to paint it to thick.

Next we got a fruit skewer glued the template on the black paper. we drew the outline of the template onto the black paper. Then we could colour the inside and draw a design on it.
